Recount writing
Itroduction:On Christmas Me my Mum my Dad my sister Grace and my brother Philip went on a trip to samoa it was so fun, we went on 2 planes one took 50 minutes but one took longer than I thought because we had to go to Auckland first than we went on a plane to go to samoa and when we got to met our family and we went for a swim and have some fun.
24 hours before we go to Samoa I was so excited I could just feel my body shaking with excitement and I said to myself I was ready. When we got there I looked at my dad and when I saw him he was so happy because he hasn't been to Samoa in 6 years when we got off the plane we saw this guy from when we ordered a car from online he gave us the keys we all our bags in the car it was a long journey because first we had to go see my mum’s family after we saw them we had to go to my dad’s dad hose if you didn’t know my dad’s parents split up but my dad is ok with it. When we left my grandpas house to go to my grandma's house when my dad saw my grandma he hugged her and he was crying that was the first time in weeks I saw him cry.
After that it was so hot so we waited for the sun to go down so we can go swimming at the lake it was so fun swimming when I hopped in I felt so good because in Samoa it is so hot even I couldn’t stand it. When we finished swimming we ate Samoa food was nice but I didn’t like it as much as the others did the look on my face wanted to spit it out but I didn’t want to be rude so I did what I had to do yes I swallowed it my stomach felt weird I could feel my stomach shaking in the inside I didn't want to puke so I told them I felt tired so I just went to bed. When I woke up I noticed that everyone was already awake so I got up brush my teeth and we started our adventure of exploring Samoa so after we all got ready we all hopped in the car and we went to go get a feed it was so good this time I wasn't going to puke. After the feed we went looking around to buy necklaces to bring back to New Zealand when we were done buying stuff we went to this park to met my mums side of the family the were cool but we didn’t get to met all of the people on my mum’s side.
The next day was all about starting to build my grandma's house we ordered all the things to build the house we finished getting everything and we started to build it. First we started with the walls it took us awhile but when we finished it we did the floor now that took for ages it took so long it was night time when we finished. The next day was about building the roof it took nearly half of the day but we finished it I really wanted to climb on it but I was scared it might of broken while I was up their. After doing that we all went for a swim at the lake it felt so good because we were all sweeting so hard we just jumped in with our normal clothes we didn’t even get change. It was so fun because they have this little hill you can jump off and do backflips and frontflips. When we finished swimming we all fell asleep. The next day we were just finishing up the house like adding carpets and furniture and we were done after we were done we just had a massive feed because we had to leave the next morning. When it was dark everyone was still awake we were just having some fun before we go so when we finished having our little party we all went to bed. The next morning we all said our goodbyes and we were crying and we left.
Reflection:
I think that I created an interesting piece of writing because… I did my capital letters
For next time I could spend more time on…. Writing more
In my writing, I would like to improve… My punctuation.
